Myofascial tracks

Autor of the concept Anatomy Trains is Tom Myers. His book massively changed my perception of our movements. It helped me to see the whole human body much more holistically. Instead of separated muscles, I see the united body, with a myofascial network across the whole of it.

The new perception of the body helped me to better understand body mechanics as a martial artist & a dancer. It’s also helped me diagnosticated problem of my massage therapy patients.

 

Therefore I attended a course which focuses on Anatomy Trains in Motion.

Let me refer you how it helps us, movers, to move more efficiently and freely.

The first layout of the course is knowledge. However, the course is not just about the theory, but it gives me a personal experience to deeply feel all of the myofascial tracks.

We learn how the myofascial tracks activate, relieve, strength, lubricate or stretch.

For us, movers are important to understanding how the human body – tensegrity works in motion; how moving patterns affect your body and vice versa – how any unbalance of your body affects your movements.

 

 

The course made by Karin Gurtner form ‘Art of motions’  (based on Mayer’s Anatomy trains) visually shows how particular mechanism of your body works, so it’s easy to understand it and remember it.

I highly recommend this course for all movers (dancers, sportsmen, warriors yogis), therapists (chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapist, massage therapists), and anybody who wants to understand his/her body and health.
